It's official, I can now offer initial consultations via Skype to interstate and distance clients!

I have many people requesting an initial consultation via phone or Skype, but until now this option has not been allowed by my professional organisation. Well, that's all just been changed; in line with people using online services, I can now offer electronic consultations, including for an initial consultation (previously only return consultations were allowed online).

If you'd like a consultation with me, but are unable to attend my clinic, I welcome you to book in for a Skype consultation. There are a few technical basics to deal with then we're right to go. Here's how the process happens...

Firstly...

You must first provide me with informed consent to; obtain, use, disclose, record & transmit your information. This must be via email to contact@davidhowell.com.au If you (or the client) are under 18 years of age, consent must be given by parent or guardian, and parent or guardian must be present during the consultation.

Secondly...

You'll need to add me as a Skype contact prior to consultation. My Skype contact name is David Howell Naturopathy, with the following profile picture...

Lastly...

You just need to book in your appointment. You can do this electronically, direct into my diary here or by calling our clinic on 07 4638 3022 (please mention to our secretaries that you're booking in a Skype Consultation).

Please note that the consultation fee must be paid via credit card at the time of consultation. You'll need to check with your Health Fund if an electronic consultation qualifies for rebates. I'll provide an invoice via email.
